About Me

Born and raised on O’ahu, I am a Native Hawaiian contemporary artist based both in Hawaiʻi and the UK. Living so far away from home, isolated from other Hawaiians and people from the pasifika, made me realize how deeply I love Hawai’i and want to use my technical skills in visual communication to uplift indigenous and vulnerable communities as well as global sustainability efforts.

Hawaiian culture and aloha ‘āina (love of the land) are at the center of my practice. I am a passionate advocate for Hawaiians existing in places of education and being in charge of telling our own story. Additionally, I am a dedicated advocate for sustainability.

Re-contextualizing historical material through contemporary art and design has been my specialism, and I am looking for more opportunities to use archival pieces to further authentically share Hawaiian history.
